Lori Holdenried

Lori Holdenried

Each of my paintings contain a little piece of my soul. Being able to create paintings that convey both the skill and emotion I am proud to put my name to, I feel I have regained my pre-injury abilities and become something more.

I work with acrylic paints on cradled wood panels to produce painterly realist works. I use a vibrant palette with nature as my subject. My work is recognizable by its combination of vivid, vibrant colours and bold composition

Lori Holdenreid is a Canadian designer, artist and owner of Little 2 the Right Design, a Port Moody based interior design and furniture studio. Lori graduated with distinction in Interior Design at BCIT where she refined her passion for colour and drawing.

From an early age Lori was drawn to Art. Unfortunately, Lori was not supported in her passion, so she focused her visual talent through a career in retail merchandising and display. In 2012, she suffered a workplace injury. Following her slow recovery, Lori began her highly successful small business focusing on refinishing mid-century furniture. During this time, she also began to take classes in acrylic paint, where she quickly picked up the skills she thought she had lost.

Lori continues to run her successful home business and paints when time allows. Lori is thrilled to be exhibiting in Floribunda!, her first exhibition.
