Zoë Royer

​Splendor is the peony; beautiful, still and patient. Its fragrance calls my name and dares me to dream.

Zoë Royer is an artist and owner of Silk Gallery in Port Moody, City of the Arts. Zoë serves on city council and has just released her first children’s book titled “A Cup of Sugar” published in 2017 by Sweetheart Bakery Press. She is a lover of all things beautiful and a champion for the Environment and the Arts.

Several years ago, Zoë fell in love with the vibrancy of working with dye on silk. The technique she uses involves stiffening the fabric first, allowing her to control the dye and define the petals and stamens in the flowers she paints.
